Q. What is check -in and check-out times?
A. Check-in is 3pm, but you are more than welcome to arrive early and if the room is ready we will be happy to take you up. If not, leave your luggage and go have fun, we will take it from there. Check-out is by 11am. We are not a bed and breakfast, but an inn, so we are not staffed past 4:30pm, so if you plan on arriving after that, please make sure to bring your confirmation email that has our later arrival instructions.
Q. What are the taxes?
A. Maryland State tax is 6% plus the Hotel/Motel Tax (Occupancy tax) is 9.5% = 15.5%
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express and Cash (US dollars).
Q. How many guests are allowed per room?
A. Harborfront, Garden, Atrium & Courtyard Rooms - 2 guests each
Suite 8 – up to 6 guests & Suite 9 – up to 4 guests
Q. What time is breakfast served and what does it consist of?
A. Breakfast is served from 7:30 am – 9:30 am Monday thru Friday and from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. We serve a continental breakfast with muffins, scones, danishes and bagels. We have local coffee, tea and fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit and yogurt, local organic granola and other cereals. We also have vouchers available for discounted breakfast at our signature restaurants
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. 14 or more days prior to your arrival date of your reservation a $20 fee per room ($50 for the suites). If this requirement is not met, you will be charged for one night for reservations of 1 or 2 days; two nights for reservations of 3 or 4 days and 75% of your stay for 5 or more days. If we are able to re-rent the canceled room, we will gladly refund you for that night.
Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland in the historic neighborhood of Fells Point. We are directly across the street from the Harbor and less than a mile from the Inner Harbor.
Q. Are restaurants near-by?
A. We have many of the top rated and award winning restaurants and bars Baltimore has to offer within walking distance of Celie’s Waterfront Inn.
Q. If we don’t want to drive in Baltimore how do we get around?
A. You can take a water taxi, located directly across the street from us, which takes you all around the Inner Harbor. Pay once for unlimited rides throughout the day. You can walk most places or if need be, we can always call a cab for you. If you do decide to drive, we have access to a parking lot 2.5 blocks away for $15.00 per day.
Celie’s Waterfront Inn’s Policies
A $50 deposit, or the cost of one night, whichever is greater, is required to confirm your reservation. For reservations made 14 days prior to the arrival date will be charged the full amount. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled date of arrival. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to arrival date we reserve the right to charge you one night for reservations of 1 or 2 days; two nights for reservations of 3 or 4 days and 50% of your stay for 5 or more days. Reservation deposits will be refunded based on the number of days that are re-booked. No shows, late check-ins and early check-outs are responsible for entire reservation.
Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of arrival and departure dates.
Celie’s Waterfront Inn maintains a strict no smoking policy throughout our entire inn, our lodging is not recommended for smokers. If a guest chooses to smoke in their room, we will ask them to leave and will charge them a $250 fee to cover our lost revenue while we replace bedding and window dressings in the room. Smoking is PROHIBITED on roof decks and balconies. Sorry, no candles or incense!
Any incidental charges, damages or theft will be charged to your credit card.
We can accommodate pets only in our suites.

Celie’s Waterfront Inn does not have an elevator, so our lodging is not recommended for those unable to use stairs, however, our Courtyard room is located on the first floor and breakfast is served in the dining room on the first floor.
Rates subject to change without notice. We have a two-night minimum policy on weekends during the high season. Guests who would like to pay for their stay with a gift certificate still have to book two nights minimum during the high season.
